Several of our gynecologists are specialists in fertility, and can assist with guidance, examination and referral if you want children – either now or at a later date.
Regular check ups
We take women's diseases seriously! Our gynecologists can investigate and examine most diseases that affect women, and can help you with e.g. pap smear and a number of other tests.
Contraception and STDs
Not sure which contraceptive is right for you? We help you with guidance and advice for choosing contraceptives, and carry out both the insertion and removal of IUDs and implants.
Pain and bleeding
Abdominal pain or irregular bleeding can have many causes. Our experienced gynecologists take your concerns seriously, and can give you a thorough examination.
Menopause
Menopause is a completely normal part of women's lives. Some have few or mild symptoms, while others can have severe problems. Our gynecologists help you with knowledge about and treatment of your ailments.

Several of the diseases in women's health are underdiagnosed, and there is a lack of knowledge and focus on the part of those who meet the patients first. We want to change the experience women have when they visit us with their challenges, so that more people seek help without fear or shame.
Smear test at Dr.Dropin
The cervical cancer screening program recommends that all women between the ages of 25-69 have a cervical smear (cell sample of the cervix) every 3-5 years. years to be able to detect cell changes that can develop into cervical cancer.
Cervical examination must be taken on indication - either via the screening program or if you experience symptoms from the lower abdomen. For patients who want a cervical smear without an indication, our gynecologists can still help you, but there will be an additional fee of NOK 1,400 for submitting and analyzing the sample from Fürst after the appointment.
You can have a cervical smear at all our gynecologists. You can also take the test for NOK 695 at all our GPs, but then without an examination. Below you can read more about cervical screening and why it is important to check yourself regularly.
