How does Dr.Dropin ensure the soundness of healthcare professionals' work with e-consultations and physical consultations? (2022)
Health personnel at Dr.Dropin comply with the Health Personnel Act § 4, which sets requirements for health personnel to perform the work. This ensures that the work performed must be professionally sound and that the health personnel must provide caring help.
Healthcare professionals who work at Dr.Dropin are obliged to act in accordance with the current professional norms and statutory requirements for professional practice. This includes the expectation that national guides and guidelines are followed.
Qualifications
Dr.Dropin sets requirements for the qualifications of healthcare professionals who work in our company. It is ensured that they have formal and real qualifications, which includes a degree in medicine, passed a bachelor's degree in nursing, a professional study in psychology, a master's degree in chiropractic or a bachelor's / master's degree in physiotherapy. All hold HPR numbers with approval from the Norwegian Directorate of Health to work as health personnel in Norway, they have relevant additional education and relevant experience for the work they are to perform at Dr.Dropin. The doctors who work as specialists hold specialist approval in Norway. Police certificate without relevant remarks is required when hiring.
Properness and rules
The due diligence requirement is followed. When hiring, it is ensured that health personnel have the necessary experience with procedures performed in our clinics. The individual health personnel continuously assess in their work with patients whether they have sufficient qualifications or whether the patient should be referred to a more experienced colleague or to a hospital specialist or contract specialist.
Dr. Dropin strives for norms and ethical rules to be followed by close follow-up of patients' feedback, the health personnel's performance of the job in the company and in the treatment and prevention of complaints and deviations.
Consent and personal integrity
Consent is the main rule for all the provision of health care in Dr.Dropin. Valid consent presupposes that the patient understands what he / she consents to, ie that the person in question has received sufficient information about the diagnosis and the health care from the treating health personnel.
Healthcare professionals are responsible for distinguishing between private and professional relationships. Dr. Dropin follows the duty of caring help, which involves providing health care in a way that gives the patient care and respect and does not violate his or her personal integrity.
Recognized methods of health care
Dr.Dropin does not offer alternative treatment in its clinics and the health personnel adhere to recognized and proven methods for health care.
It is expected that the healthcare staff at Dr.Dropin obtain sufficient information from and about the patient before providing health care. Dr.Dropin follows the principle of sound diagnosis. The methods used must be suitable for giving a curative or soothing effect.
