Mindfulness Course

In this course, you will get an introduction to what mindfulness is, practical practice in mindfulness meditation and the opportunity to experience for yourself what positive experiences mindfulness can provide. Through the course, you will get to know better how you experience stress in everyday life, and how to deal with thoughts and feelings more appropriately.

The course is suitable for anyone who wants insight and understanding of their own psychological processes and behaviour.

Practical information

The course is held by psychologist Anita, and takes place over six sessions of 1.5 hours. You will be part of a group of 6-8 people, who meet regularly every week.

All sessions will be held in our clinic in Vika, Huitfeldts gate 4A, Oslo.

  • Introductory price: NOK 3,995.

Clothing and equipment: You do not need any equipment or special clothing. The meditation will be carried out sitting. Feel free to bring an extra sweater for comfort.

About psychologist Anita

Anita is an authorized psychologist with experience from the specialist health service.
She has developed a special interest in Mindfulness and practices Mindfulness both at work and privately. Through her expertise in this, she enjoys communicating Mindfulness through her work as a psychologist with Dr. Dropin.
Deepening has been done as part of a master's degree in health psychology at ELTE University in Hungary from 2018. In addition, she is a certified mindfulness instructor from Co-Creative AS, with Ivar Vehler as the main instructor.

Forskning viser at økt tilstedeværelse her og nå kan ha god effekt på stress og forsterke vår mentale helse.

Mindfulness kan gi mulighet til innsikt i hvordan man håndterer utfordringer eller vonde følelser, og har vist å kunne føre til økt indre ro og større aksept for seg selv.
