Laser hair removal can reduce hair growth by between 70-90 per cent, but the result also depends on skin colour, hair thickness and colour, genetic predisposition to hair growth, hormonal imbalance, diseases and medication. You get the effect of the treatment when the laser shoots at the pigment in the hair while it is in the anagen growth phase and thus kills the hair follicle (follicle). Everyone will need several treatments as the hair will always be at a different stage of growth. Already after the first treatment, you will notice a difference and it will take longer before hair comes out again. When the hairs come out again, it is ready for a new treatment in the next growth phase.

It is usual to achieve permanent results after 5-8 treatments, but you will often see results already after 2 weeks. Before the laser treatment, there are some important things you must remember, so that the treatment is carried out in the safest possible way, so that complications are avoided. Avoid using products on the skin in the relevant area 1 week before treatment.

ATTENTION! It is extremely important to avoid the use of self-tanning products, as well as products containing coconut oil before the laser treatment. Shave the area before the treatment, but preferably do it 3-4 days before so that you have some visible hair growth in the area and that the area is not irritated due to shaving just before. Avoid direct sun exposure of the area 6 weeks before treatment and 6 weeks after treatment, as this may increase the risk of hyperpigmentation. This makes this type of treatment particularly nice to do in winter. When treating the face, it is important to use sun protection factor 50 when you are outside after the treatment. We recommend that you shower the night before or the same day as the treatment, as it is not recommended to shower 24 hours after the treatment. Avoid wearing tight clothing that may rub in the area after the treatment.
