Our gynecologists perform both the insertion and removal of the spiral and P-rod. The spiral or the P-rod itself can be bought either from us in the clinic, or in a pharmacy. We have no mark-up when purchasing contraception from us rather than from a pharmacy.

Colposcopy with biopsy

This is an examination of the cervix using a colposcope (a microscope that looks like binoculars) and a tissue sample from the cervix. We perform this at Dr. Dropin Medisinske Senter Majorstuen and Grünerløkka.

Pap test (Tissue sample to examine material from the inside of the uterine wall)
Removal of polyps (stalked protrusion of skin or mucous membrane)

3D Ultrasound including images

3D ultrasound is a technology that gives you the opportunity to see the child's facial features and provides more detailed and clearer images than the usual 2D examination. 3D Ultrasound is offered at the Dr.Dropin Medisinske Senter Majorstuen.

Gynecologist

At Dr.Dropin you get the proper treatment for your needs from skilled gynocologists with extensive experience. Our gynocologists help you with a wide range of issues: fertility, menstrual cramps and cervical screening tests. A gynocologist is a doctor who has specialised in the caring for the reproductive health of a woman from the time she gets her first period all the way to post-menopause. Any conditions that affect the reproductive system, such as those with the cervix, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, or vagina, are diagnosed and treated by a gynecologist.
